Instructions

I want to personally say thank you for your purchase!

Below are the instructions for how to get the most out of your new KLOVEO Champagne Stopper when it arrives.

3 Easy steps to secure the stopper on to your bottle:

1) rotate the safety clip away from the stopper

2) insert the seal into the sparkling wine bottle

3) secure the safety clip around the neck of the bottle under the annulus (a fancy word for the protruding glass rim at the top of the neck) - this last step is what keeps the stopper secure as pressure builds inside the bottle. You can do this entirely one-handed, give it a try!

  • The sooner you secure the stopper on your bottle of Champagne, Prosecco, Cava, or Sparkling Wine after opening it, the longer those bubbles will last.
  • Keep that bottle ice cold - the warmer it gets, the more bubbles escape.
  • Remove the stopper as few times as possible - every time you open the bottle, you lose bubbles!
  • This stopper also works well on some large format beer and cider bottles (750ml)!
  • The stopper is leak proof for standard 750ml sparkling wine bottles, so you can replace the bottle in the fridge on its side without having to worry. Note: always test this first, there are some non-standard sized/shaped bottle necks that may leak, but they are uncommon.
  • Recommended care is to rinse with warm water after use and let air dry before storing. Dishwashers are not recommended.
  • The more sparkling wine left in the bottle, and the longer the stopper is left on, the more pressure build up there will be.
  • BE CAREFUL: Take care when removing the KLOVEO stopper from a bottle. Sometimes the pressure build up can cause the stopper to pop off the bottle as you release it, so keep a nice firm grip on the stopper and aim it away from you and others. Or better yet, place a kitchen towel over the stopper, then remove it!

I hope you found this information helpful!
